COREN-CERTIFIED CIVIL ENGINEER (RIGID PAVEMENT ROAD CONSTRUCTION)

We are recruiting a COREN-certified Civil Engineer with proven experience in rigid pavement road design and construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of concrete pavement technology, materials, and construction supervision, and will ensure projects are executed to the highest engineering and quality standards.

Location: Abuja and Surrounding North Central States

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee rigid pavement (concrete) road construction projects from inception to completion.

• Prepare and review structural designs, pavement thickness calculations, reinforcement details, and construction drawings.

• Supervise all phases of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance tests for materials such as concrete, aggregates, and reinforcement.

• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers, surveyors, and other disciplines to ensure accurate design implementation.

• Monitor project schedules, progress, and budget utilization.

• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.

• Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.

• Support the project management team in planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.

• COREN certification is mandatory.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years specifically in rigid (concrete) pavement road construction.

• Strong knowledge of pavement design standards, mix design, reinforcement detailing, and curing methods.

• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent).

• Excellent project supervision, documentation, and reporting skills.

• Good communication and leadership abilities.

2. COREN-CERTIFIED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:

We are seeking a COREN-certified Electrical Engineer with strong technica1l expertise in electrical design and implementation to join our project team. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in electrical system design, installation, and supervision within construction and infrastructure projects.

Location: Abuja and Surrounding North Central States

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects.

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, load calculations, and specifications in line with standards and regulations.

• Supervise electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved designs and safety standards.

• Inspect, test, and commission completed electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical components.

• Prepare bills of quantities (BoQ), cost estimates, and material lists for electrical works.

• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.

• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality control standards.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.

• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

• COREN certification is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and implementation.

• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, or Revit MEP.

• Sound understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Remuneration and Benefits:

• Monthly Take-Home: ₦300,000 - ₦350,000
